1. Acceptance of Terms

By using sortr.com or any service operated by Sortr LLC (“Sortr,” “we,” or “us”) — including the Sortr Music web app and mobile apps — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Our Services

Sortr LLC operates sortr.com (this site) and Sortr Music, a parental-control music app for Apple Music. Use of Sortr Music is governed by these Terms together with the Sortr Music Terms of Service.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not use Sortr services for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to circumvent security features or access data belonging to others.
• Do not submit phone numbers or contact information that you are not authorized to provide.

4. SMS Messaging Program

By providing your mobile phone number to Sortr and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from us. The SMS program details are below.

Sortr Music SMS Notifications.

Description of Service

When you opt in, you may receive SMS messages from Sortr for the following purposes:

• A one-time download link to Sortr Music (when you request one via an opt-in form on sortr.com or music.sortr.com)
• Account verification and login codes
• Security and account alerts
• Family activity notifications (e.g., approval requests from a child account)
• Service notifications and important account updates
• Optional product updates and promotional offers (only if you separately opt in)

• “Sortr Music: Your verification code is 123456. Reply STOP to opt out.”
• “Sortr Music: Here's the link to download the app: https://apps.apple.com/app/sortr-music. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
• “Sortr Music: Your child requested approval for a song. Open the app to review. Reply STOP to cancel.”

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity. You may receive up to several messages per week.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Sortr does not charge a fee for SMS messages, but standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply based on your mobile plan.

Opt-In

To opt in to SMS messages from Sortr, submit your mobile number through an opt-in form on sortr.com or music.sortr.com, grant SMS consent during Sortr Music account signup, or reply START to any prior message from us. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Opt-Out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After replying STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message, and you will not receive any further SMS messages from Sortr. To resume messages, reply START.

For help, reply HELP to any message from Sortr, or contact our support team at support@sortr.com.

Carriers and Delivery

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Sortr's SMS service is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers, including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and others.

Eligibility

SMS messaging is currently available to U.S.-based users with U.S. mobile phone numbers. You must be 18 years or older to consent to receive SMS messages from Sortr.

Privacy

Phone numbers and SMS-related data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sortr does not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sortr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
