Sortr LLC (“Sortr,” “we,” or “us”) operates sortr.com and Sortr Music (music.sortr.com and the Sortr Music mobile apps). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information across our services, with particular attention to information related to children and to SMS text messaging.

Information We Collect

• Email addresses you submit through our endorsement, contact, or signup forms.
• Mobile phone numbers you submit through an SMS opt-in form or during account signup on Sortr Music.
• Records of opt-in consent (timestamp, method, IP address) and opt-out requests.
• Basic usage analytics (page views, device type, anonymized IP) via Google Analytics.

How We Use Information

• To operate and improve sortr.com and Sortr Music.
• To send the SMS messages you opt in to receive (see below).
• To maintain auditable records of consent for compliance with CTIA, TCPA, and carrier requirements.
• To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.

SMS / Text Message Communications

When you opt in to receive SMS text messages from Sortr (for example, by submitting your number through an opt-in form on sortr.com or music.sortr.com, or by granting SMS consent during Sortr Music account signup), we collect and process:

• Your mobile phone number
• Records of your opt-in consent (timestamp, IP address, and method of consent)
• Records of opt-out requests (e.g., STOP, HELP keywords)
• SMS delivery status (sent, delivered, failed)

We use your phone number and SMS data only to:

• Send the messages you have opted in to receive — including a download link to Sortr Music, account verification codes, security and account alerts, family activity notifications, service notifications, and (only if you separately opt in) product updates or promotional offers.
• Maintain records of your consent and opt-out for compliance purposes.
• Diagnose and resolve SMS delivery issues.

We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number.

We share SMS-related data only with:

• Twilio, our SMS messaging service provider, under a strict data processing agreement, solely to deliver the messages you've opted in to receive.
• Wireless carriers necessary to deliver your messages to your device.
• Law enforcement or regulators when required by valid legal process.

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us at support@sortr.com. For help, reply HELP to any SMS message you receive from us.

Message frequency varies based on your activity (up to several per week). Message and data rates may apply. See our Terms of Service for full SMS program details (program name, sample messages, supported carriers).

Children's Privacy

Sortr Music is designed to be operated by parents on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, and we comply with COPPA. SMS messaging is restricted to users 18 and older.

Your Rights

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP.
• Request account deletion by emailing support@sortr.com. Deletion is completed within 30 days.
